Like you guys I had Kovalev ahead going into the 11th round but predictably two of the judges had Canelo ahead and the other had them level:

I guess this fight panned out like many predicted with Canelo using his counter punching ability to eventually wear down and stop Kovalev. Canelo showed in his fights against GGG that he has a great chin, and even though he had Kovalev's jab in his face all night it didn't really seem to bother him. Although he was non-committal about his future immediately after the fight I just can't see Canelo hanging around at 175 pounds to face the likes of Beterbiev or Bivol. As for Kovalev, he got a good pay day out of this fight and it has to be time for him to hang up the gloves.

You lost me at his Crolla. He's not a great sure but he's one of my favs and I've taken massive offence to that comment lol

Haha I haven't seen it yet but it sounds like he was lucky to get the decision. Not sure he was ever the same after this to be honest but great ambassador for the sport

"Million Dolla" always seemed like one of the genuine nice guys of the sport. He suffered a couple of losses by decision to Linares and in April this year was one of Lomachanko's victims by brutal KO: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://m.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3DzM-b20WidZ4&ved=2ahUKEwiV84HXpNHlAhU6H7cAHbZODtMQwqsBMAB6BAgEEAQ&usg=AOvVaw0nXuYrDGAWFTE4bJ1TBbyG

Just saw your man Crolla. Good fighter, but I had his opponent ahead. Just. Could have easily been a draw. I like the way he fights, speed and accuracy, but little power, and he got hit way too much. Good time to end his career.

Dmitry Bivol: I can beat Canelo

WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol has commented on a potential fight with WBO light heavyweight champion Canelo Alvarez, who also holds the WBA super middleweight and middleweight belts, and is WBC franchise champion.

“[In the] last days I have to answer the question ‘Would I fight Canelo?’ Of course, he has a title in my weight, he just won a big fight, he is one of the biggest names in boxing. I respect him. I hope he will stay at 175 or we can fight in 168. Do I believe I can win? Yes I do!”

I can't see Canelo facing Bivol at either 175 or 168lbs. I think the most likely scenario is that he next lines up a fight at super-middleweight against Callum Smith in the UK. After all, Canelo already beat his brother!
