Some great fights on this card. https://boxrec.com/en/event/790370
You would think they would have it on in NZ as there are some great potential matchups that could be made with NZ boxers in the future but I'm just off the phone to Foxtel and it appears there is no way to watch this card in NZ. Was happy to pay too!

Horn: Tim Tszyu still a boy with a man’s name

By Ray Wheatley – World of Boxing

Australia’s top junior middleweight, former world champion Jeff Horn says IBF #11 rated Tim Tszyu (14-0, 10 KOs) isn’t ready for him yet. “Tim Tszyu is still a boy with a man’s name,” Horn stated after Tszyu’s ten round unanimous decision over Dwight Ritchie. “He’s still holding onto that Tszyu name. He has to build himself up a little bit more.

“Sure he is one of the best in Australia in that weight division, he is making inroads, he is doing great things for the sport but is he ready yet for that massive fight? I don’t know. I would like to see him against some world-class opposition.”

Horn (19-1-1, 13 KOs) next faces Michael Zerafa (26-3, 15 KOs) on August 31 at Bendigo Stadium in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia.

Tszyu defeats Ritchie in battle of contenders

By Ray Wheatley – World of Boxing

IBF #11 Tim Tszyu (14-0, 10 KOs) outscored IBF #9 Dwight Ritchie (19-2, 2 KOs) over ten rounds at Star City Casino, Sydney, NSW, Australia on Wednesday. Tszyu connected with accurate combinations consistently and cut Ritchie’s left eye in round three which the doctor inspected but allowed the contest to continue. Tszyu outworked Ritchie in most of the rounds to be crowned the winner by scores of 97-93, 98-92, 98-93 to capture the IBF Australasian and WBO Global Championships.

Tim Tszyu: “Dwight is one hell of an opponent and kept me on my toes. He let me go somewhere that I haven’t been — something I can learn from, and can even get better. He was #1 in Australia for a reason. All my respect to Dwight, he’s one hell of a competitor. I think his journey isn’t finished — it’s only just beginning. Same as mine. We’re both young, we’ve got a big future ahead. Maybe, you know what, in the future, we can fight for a world title in Australia one day.”

Dwight Ritchie: [on the cut giving him problems] “Nah, it didn’t mate. I don’t want to take anything away from Tim.”

Super middleweight Cesar Mateo Tapia (11-0, 6 KOs) battered former IBO super-middleweight Champion Renold Quinlan (12-5, 8 KOs) over ten rounds to be awarded the decision by scores of 98-92, 99-92, 97-93 and be crowned the Australian super middleweight champion.

WBA #6 super-middleweight Aldos Yerbossynuly (12-0, 8 KOs) outscored Rocky Jerkic (17-2, 13 KOs) over ten rounds to win by scores of 99-91, 98-92, 98-92. Yerbossynuly was in control from the opening bell as he outworked the Australian but in round ten was in trouble when Jerkic connected with accurate headshots, however, he survived the hear the bell.
