Thought that would be the case. I'm a fan of Joe's but he does deserve criticism if this fight does go ahead as he will learn absolutely nothing from it. If it were Wilder we wouldn't hear the end of it.
Well said. I'm all for supporting 'your' guy but there are occasions when criticism is deserved. And probably not even at Parker himself, but the people who manage him. Conjanu, H.Fury, and Fujimoto...
Conjanu and Fury took nothing out of Parker. He barely got out of 2nd gear in both fights. Now would be the time to step it up, but he's taking a step back with Fujimoto.
I don't either. I don't blame them for Fury too, as he was a mando. But they were comfortable fights where Parker was big favourite. I'd be suprised if he took 50 solid punches in both fights combined. You'd hope that his team would be looking at a bigger opponent, not just a quick cash grab.
