Professional Boxing in NZ

The main event is ok, but not a PPV. Parker HAS to fight these guys, as he's not ready for prime time top 10 yet. OK, promoter has to earn some money, why not make it $25?

Real disappointing card! 5 fights, no Jeff Horn, no Reece, could have been so much better.

Duco duping the public again. Their shows feather someone's nest but the real boxing fraternity starves. They have a payroll of officials and frontmen who polish up their profile in the lights, experienced guys, who profer from the glamour and give loyal support which adds some valor to the event until the fighters enter the ring.

Sham, I don't see the personal gain in only having 5 fights. Sure, if you have more fights, the fighters get a few more thousand dollars. But that's a drop in the bucket compared to the gross income the promoters will generate. And matching up fighters well is a matter of time, not $$$. All I'm saying is take the time and do it right.

Good to see Maniapoto straight back into it! Roil will be 4-5 by the time they fight having fought some quality fighters. Good match-up for a second bout.

I don't want Parker fighting Kali. No upside, except money. Needs to stay on his journey towards contending for the title. Meehan is a side step.

Am picking it will become more of an option as it gets harder to get decent guys down to NZ
