This fight has all the ingredients to be very entertaining. Whyte will always come forward and Parker needs to put on a performance. He needs to win, but look good doing it. I don't think either guy punches that hard but they both have good output, so I'm hoping for fireworks. I think Parker will edge it but it'll be interesting to see how he deals with Whyte's reach and body punching.

However, although it's a competitive fight, there is no way this should be PPV. A non title fight between two non-titlist is pushing it. I can accept a PPV if the undercard has a number of high quality 50/50 fights, but this just hasn't. I like what Hearn has done for UK boxing in general. He's put on some big shows, moved a number of fighters along nicely, provided young prospects with the best they could wish for and generally brought a buzz back to boxing (in the UK at least). But he does put some shit on sometimes and really milks the public when it's unnecessary.

And I'm sorry, but nobody gives a shit about Katie Taylor. He keeps trying to push her, but the women's game is just sub-par. It's a fact of life unfortunately. You're left with Chisora v Takam (good fight), then nothing. He's propping up the whole card with Buatsi, Fowler and Benn, who are all still prospects. It's Hearn's own making though, he's hammered the PPV market and now he's left with fighters who will just fight on PPV and then prospects. He's got nothing inbetween to make an undercard.

I think Takam/Chisora has all the ingredients to be an absolute stinker. Two lazy fighters.

Hopefully Whyte will spark Joe, Whyte was awesome in that interview and would defiantly have been pushing all Joes buttons. Opening his comments by calling Joe a coward was hilarious.

Whyte is so awesome lol he pushed all the buttons and was really getting under Joe's skin hahahahaha. I don't think he beats Joe as he's a bit sloppy in areas. Parker UD or late stoppage. Whyte was definitely right in a couple of things he said and you've got to love the guy cause he will go out on his shield. He's a warrior!!!

Yup I agree it's a very poor undercard. I assume Parker and Whyte must be getting a lot for this to put such an average undercard on.

And yes Craigid14, it does have the ingredients for a crap fight as most of Chisora's fights are, but a lot of people also said the same for Chisora v Whyte and it was a classic. Hopefully we get the same here. Takam to win on points for mine.

I hope Parker is making a lot of money from this fight, his third on the trot in the UK. He deserves too, he could easily of had a fight against some Brazilian dishwasher at the vector arena or manakau sports bowl.
