Saw the entire card. Really good fights. Mrs D taped it for me. Bebic asked his girlfriend to marry him after he won. Sweet. Not much defence, but he's an all out brawler. Like to see Jr in there with him.

He is a fighter that is fun to watch but feel there is def a ceiling coming up for him.
A decent HW will pick him off but in lower level undercard fights he will do well and entertain. Love to see him v Hughie or someone at a similar level, Hughie would most likely jab him to death but babic could have his moments and maybe even surprise with his workrate.. I hope he makes some good coin on the way and Eddie doesn't throw him in the deep end too soon

a bit of cash may have past hands here.... Gerald Washington - Mark De Mori....
Usually means when fellas like that get spiked rankings that they are going to be feed to a big boy and needed a numbered ranking to make it legit on paper. Ruiz v Washington Dubois v De Mori type thing

Too true. Legit on paper, and $$$ in the promoters hands. Fa vs De Mori?

If Fa could get that fight would be ideal to grab that ranking, but as I said De Mori is there to be feed to a lion.
Look at DeMori's last two fights. Man oughta be ashamed of himself:

Mike Perez wins by KO
Cuban Mike Perez returned to the ring to fight for the World Boxing Association (WBA) Inter-Continental cruiserweight title and proved he still has his power by knocking out Tony Salam in three rounds at the Atlantis The Palm Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The 35-year-old fighter scored a third round technical knockout over a gritty African challenger and captured the pioneer organization’s regional belt with a resounding and convincing performance. After taking a break since 2018 and having to endure inactivity due to the pandemic, the West Indian has new challenges in his career and the most important one is to fight for a world title. The fight was a good sign for Perez, who faced an opponent with a good punching power and who came with three wins in a row. Perez improved his record to 25 wins, 3 losses, 1 draw and 16 knockouts, while Salam dropped his to 14 wins, 3 losses and 9 knockouts. |
