Miller doesn't excite me- I may be wrong but i feel he is manufactured by EH as an entry to the US
Miller is slow -walks forward and doesn't possess a huge punch....seems made to order for AJ.

I used to agree with you. But he's really improved his last two outings. He has a very good jab, power, and good footwork for a big man. What he needs now is quality opposition to see where he is. A negative is that he tends to get hit alot.

Yes he does have a good motor for such a big unit so would give next level down (from the big 3 ) trouble

It's the problem you have when facing light punchers like Miller has, you just abandon your defence like he has been able to as he's been matched with guys like Duhaupas, Wach, Washington who aren't the hardest of hitters, and yes I agree, he's being used to give AJ an easyish opponent for his US debut.

I dunno, I think he's a bit of a dark horse in the division. He seems pretty durable, good chin, great tank. If he can stay into the late rounds and put constant pressure on AJ it could become an interesting fight. At 300 pounds the guy is an absolute unit. It all comes down to his chin.

I agree on dark horse but he looks limited in his ability. I feel he is very predictable but hey if his chin holds up and he is still firing off who knows.

I bring more to the table than Joseph Parker': Dillian Whyte slams Anthony Joshua's 'utterly ridiculous' offer

British heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte has slammed Anthony Joshua after claiming to receive an "utterly ridiculous" offer from the unified champion for an April showdown in London.

In an interview with UK radio station talkSPORT, Whyte claimed he had been offered "way less" for a rematch with Joshua than he had made for his last outing against compatriot Dereck Chisora in December, which he won by 1th round knockout.

The 30-year-old Londoner, who worked his way into the world title picture with impressive wins over Lucas Browne, Kiwi Joseph Parker and Chisora last year, said Joshua's camp clearly weren't serious about making the fight after tabling such a "silly offer".    

"It is a ridiculous offer, they're not serious about the fight, I don't think they want the fight, I think they just made an offer to cover ground", Whyte told talkSPORT.

“There’s been a first offer, but it’s utterly ridiculous. It’s just silly.”

“He doesn’t want to fight me, I’ll bring problems to his mum’s house.” ?@DillianWhyte tells us he has received an offer to fight @AnthonyFJoshua.

"It's just silly, I'm a pay-per-view fighter now in the UK which I've built by myself against all the odds.

"It's not like I'm a journeyman. I've had nine fights since I fought him and won them all in spectacular fashion.

"I don't think he wants to fight me, there's easier paydays out there for him and he knows that I will bring problems to his mum's house, so he don't want it."

Whyte and Joshua have history, with Joshua knocking him out in the seventh round of their British and Commonwealth title clash in December 2015. Whyte did manage to rock Joshua in that fight, and he also owns an amateur victory over his rival. They share the same promoter in Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn, so in theory it should be an easy fight to make.

Joshua, the IBF, WBA, WBO and IBO champion, has Wembley Stadium booked for his next fight on April 13, but is yet to confirm his opponent.

Whyte was assumed to be the frontrunner, with WBC betlholder Denotay Wilder expected to pursue an immediate rematch with Tyson Fury after their thrilling split draw in Los Angeles last month.

Joseph Parker is desperate for a rematch with Dillian Whyte after losing to the rugged Brit on points last July.
Joshua has repeatedly stated that his preference is to face Wilder next in order to become the undisputed champion. But assuming that fight can't be made, Whyte and American Jarrell 'Big Baby' Miller – also promoted by Hearn – loom as the most likely options.

However, Whyte is clearly not prepared to accept chump change for his first world title shot, accusing Joshua of "arrogance" in negotiations and pointing out that he is now a big draw in the UK in his own right.

He even used former foe Parker's name to make his case, telling talkSPORT that he "brings more to the table than what even Joseph Parker brings, who was a world champion [when he fought Joshua]".

Parker relinquished his WBO title when he lost a unanimous points decision to Joshua at Cardiff's Principality Stadium in March last year, but the New Zealander's team were able to negotiate a multimillion-dollar purse for their fighter.

Whyte – who handed Parker a second career loss last July in a thrilling battle at London's O2 Arena –  clearly feels he has more drawing power than the Kiwi and deserves a bigger slice of the pie.

"Apart from me, Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder you can't sell out Wembley. So let's be realistic," Whyte said of Joshua's potential opponents for the 90,000-capacy national stadium.

"It looks like Tyson Fury's gonna fight Deontay Wilder, so if he's serious he needs to stop messing about.

"This is an easy fight to make, it's not a hard fight, I have the rankings, we have history.

"We fought twice already, no-one's gonna complain about the fight, so what's the problem?"

Anthony Joshua currently holds four of the heavyweight belts but has been accused of ducking his rivals.
Pressed on the offer from Joshua's camp, Whyte said it was "way, way off" what he deserved having established himself as one of the division's top contenders.

"[It's] way off, how can I make more to fight Dereck Chisora? There's middle ground, there's OK ground and there's way, way, way off. It's arrogance", Whyte said.

Parker, meanwhile, has been pushing for a rematch with Whyte after their controversial first clash in which he was knocked down following a head clash and was on the receiving end of some roughhouse tactics from the rugged Brit.

But Whyte seemingly has no intention of offering Parker another shot, expressing his desire to face Fury or American Dominic Breazeale if terms cannot be agreed with Joshua.

In recent days there has even been talk of former division ruler Wladimir Klitschko coming out of retirement to face Whyte, a challenge the Englishman said he would welcome with open arms.

"I'll fight Wladimir Klitschko and knock him out if he comes back, I'll definitely knock him out", Whyte told talkSPORT.

"I know exactly what to do. I trained alongside him, I sparred him for years and I know what he's like, I'd knock him out."

Whyte-Klitschko and Miller-Joshua make sense

Joshua will get slated for fighting Whyte right now even though tbh he is probably the 4th top heavyweight and 2 and 3 aren't avaliable.

If Whyte fights and beats Klitschko at wembley stadium then him vs AJ does become hugely viable and big money

AJ wouldn't get as much flak for fighting miller as he would for whyte, for some reason

It then gives Hearn a card up his sleeve in the negotiations with the Fury v Wilder winner as they won't have that many big money options where AJ would have the Whyte v Klitschko winner ready to go

If Whyte beats klitschko and his run becomes Helenius-Browne-Parker-Chisora-Klitschko then we have to start considering him as a world champion without a belt. He would be at that level.

Supposedly Wilder really beat Miller up bad in sparring, Wilder said it to him during a confrontation about miller having to go to hospital or something and miller didn't deny it. 

This was around the same time that Klitschko floored wilder twice in sparring and Wilder got sent home from that camp, so this was the very raw and clumsy version too. 

It's kind of a open secret in boxing that Miller might not hold a big shot too well and has poor defence, hence why he's never faced a single puncher in his entire career.

Don't be too surprised if Joshua blasts him out in a single round after a build up focused on how big and tough miller is, eddie knows what he's doing.
