Agree.  And great tactics though btw. But it's the reaction to shots that has always concerned me. And yes, Joshua did look the same in the white fight so there is a legitimate concern there

Is it that he got cracked by Whyte that's led to his suspect chin? In watching the fight many times, I didn't think it was a big deal. AJ got cracked, never wobbled, and came back. Klit has been down 11 times. Manny solved it by the octopus. No knockdowns after that.

Well he did get dropped a couple of times in the amateurs and supposedly by David price. Although look let's be honest as rubbish as price is, if he lands a flush shot on just about anyone they are going down. He's one of the best punchers in the division he just has a terrible chin himself.

Also I have seen joshua take some very good shots on the chin in the amateurs by guts such as cammarele (who is comparable to povetkin), Ivan dychko and a few others.

Put it this way, when price fought cammarele he got bashed up , badly hurt and stopped. When joshua fought him he took his punches and out slugged him.

Personally I think AJ will have a similar chin to lewis. Not as bad as people make out, but with vulnerability if he switches off and gets caught with a big shot (the one Whyte landed was similar in nature to the one McCall landed on lewis)

Like Parker, we need to wait and see how he does with my "mighty 8" fighters. Barring AJ, that would be Fury (he'll be back), Klit, Povetkin, Parker, Haye, Wilder, and Ortiz. BTW, Whyte also dropped him in the amateurs, right?

If we compare him to Vitali, I belive he will be older than Vitali was in his last fight.

And Vitali had started to degrade badly at that point. Plus Wlad has a lot more miles on the clock.

It'll be interesting but I think Wlad might be past it too.

Sad. I think his decline started with Jennings, and then Fury caused him not to fight. His chance of regaining his mojo was in a rematch with Fury, but it took too long. AJ will KO him in the middle rounds.

I hope Klit isn't too defensive. That Lennox Vitali fight was an excellent example of Young Lion vs Old Lion, but I think Klit will be too worried about his chin to fight like that..

Wlad will try to hold and frustrate AJ, but I really think AJ can punch through this style now - his power is near Foreman-like.
Prob the best boxer to frustrate AJ would be Tyson Furey - he uses weird angles and arms everywhere this is very confusing to a straight up boxer like AJ and Wlad
