I reckon if Hygovic takes the fight at this notice then he has probably been on standby
I think it was always on the cards Fury was pulling out whether the cut is legit or not he would have claimed covid etc
Remember Furys reaction to Haye when he pulled out with a cut before their fight.

I can't believe that Fury is THAT afraid of Usyk. He had a better chance of losing to Wilder, who knocked him down, what, five times?
Also, Usyk manager says he's itching to fight due to his inactivity, so he might fight SOMEBODY before Fury. And, if Fury whimps out after delay after delay, Usyk has to do SOMETHING!

If its Hygovic then he must have been on standby, the fight is so close
Hygovic wasn't listed to fight anyone as far as I know so if says he ready he has obviously been in camp

I know, but the article said that the Hrgovic/Usyk fight wouldn't sell, and they're not using him as a replacement. Maybe in the future at another venue?

New date set for Fury-Usyk
The undisputed heavyweight championship clash between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk has been rescheduled for May 18 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The bout was pushed back from February 17 after Fury suffered a cut in sparring.
