Gone are the days when 8 kiwis live in a 2 bedroom flat in Acton or Shepherds bush in London. The pound is too weak, young New Zealanders are more likely to work back home or in Aussie and then travel to Europe and the UK without needing to work. England's much cheaper than NZ, for example you can catch a mega bus up to Manchester from London for as little as £3 (NZ$5.25) get a room for £30 ($52.50) and tickets start at £46.85 ($82.50). A lot cheaper than if it was held in Auckland.... I can't attend unfortunately as I'm running in Poland that weekend, if it was Joshua/Parker I wouldn't be running in Poland!
