Bart - I agree with you.
A bad KO loss? Time to retire.
But I am hoping for a dominant win for JP - which will totally rejuvenate his whole career

Yip a win however achieved equals another big fight and a step closer to a belt
A win v Wilder I would target Hygovic for the vacant (After Fury v Usyk) IBF belt

I think a lot will depend on how much Wilder has been affected by the Fury wars and also his age of 38
Andy Lee says the "stars have aligned" for this fight
Parker will never have a better chance to change everything in his career
The very best JP can win this

Looking forward to your coming on about JP, given how the fight is getting closer and articles are circulating. I agree with your first two points about 1) how did Wilder fare with the Fury wars, and 2) his age. But I think the third one is his inactivity and ring rust.
Looks like JP is gonna go in and out, speed, and combos. I'm ok with that, but I'd try to get him early before the ring rust wears off on Wilder.
