Can't I have Mansour instead? Well, at least Forest fought Gerald Washington. And Michael Hunter. https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/622344

Sounds like the Usyk fight is likely then...
Great news if so (01-11-2020, 02:28 PM)markk Wrote:(01-11-2020, 02:01 PM)diehard Wrote:(01-11-2020, 01:46 PM)markk Wrote:(01-09-2020, 11:21 PM)bart Wrote: The opponent will be very interesting - if its a lefty then the Usyk fight is locked in. Funnily enough he was robbed I thought against Jermain Franklin in his last fight but yes, a completely rubbish waste of time opponent. Diehard, Mansour retired straight after the Efe Ajagba fight. I think my man Parker is getting ahead of himself here, and getting a bit greedy to boot:

Nah that is just Higgins wheeling and dealing to make sure JP is paid. They will probably go for 50/50. Higgins just trying to make sure Usyk not given more $$ than JP.
Cunning play by Higgins I reckon

Once it looks like the WBO wants it to happen, and wants them to have a box off, then he can start demanding. Right now, Usyk is in the drivers seat, not Parker. Usyk may even get a title shot, bypassing Parker.

Mr Higgins weighs in:
Higgins: Parker deserves 70/30 split vs. Usyk By Ray Wheatley – World of Boxing Former WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker deserves a 70/30 split in his favor if he collides with WBO#1 Oleksandr Usyk for the vacant WBO championship in the event current champion Anthony Joshua decides to vacate according to Parker’s promoter David Higgins. “Usyk has not earned his stripes at heavyweight,” Higgins told Sky Sports. “Joseph Parker is the A-side and Joseph Parker has sold out the Principality Stadium with Joshua, he’s sold out The O2 with Whyte. He’s the A-side and so if Usyk wants to share the ring with Parker, I would be expecting 70/30 open book revenue share in Parker’s favor. “I’ll get ridiculed for that, but listen, Parker has beaten Andy Ruiz, he’s sold out the Principality and the O2 and he’s a big name in the UK, so Usyk is the B-side. Absolutely Joe would fight him. As long as the Usyk team recognize and understand that they are the B-side, there’s no problem.

This would be for the vacant WBO
So neither Usyk or JP are truly in control Probably will be 50/50 - brokered by Eddie Hearn

Yeah makes sense 50/50 Eddie wins either way
