If AJ blasts Parker's elbows it won't do any extra damage post op. There's no internal wound, just the scar. The scar has healed, so there will be no extra effect from punching his elbows.

If Anthony has been reading Stuff.co.nz he might be considering just handing over the belts

Not winning olympic gold makes you a better amateur than winning it https://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/combat-sports/102636321/anthony-joshua-v-joseph-parker-the-making-of-champions--how-parkers-and-joshuas-amateur-careers-stack-up

I would say I can't wait for this fight to be over just so I won't be constantly seeing garbage articles from stuff.co.nz, but I'm sure they will continue to pump them out after the fight...
Expect this one if Parker pulls the upset: "Joseph Parker - greatest heavyweight of all time?"

Why get upset about it? the articles - features etc are for the casual fan to build a frenzy and promote the fight. Don't take it seriously or to heart. Most of us here know the odds are stacked against Jo but he's a kiwi so I support him win -lose or draw that's me.
While I say the odds are against him they are not insurmountable - Buster Douglas was 44-1 - People worried for Holyfield's health v Tyson and Ali's life before Zaire.... Jo has a chance possibly slim but he has a chance and the NZ media aren't really boxing jounrno's so they cheerlead the public... its all entertainment. I hope if he loses they still support him... I will its great to have a heavyweight on the world stage Kia Kaha Champ

My mate works for skysport and said he was surprised how many kiwis were at the press conference https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=10155068994411862&id=642111861&comment_id=10155068996426862¬if_id=1522258106646033¬if_t=comment_mention&ref=notif
