Great find. Come on Light! Main event probably won't happen until after 11PM NZ time. Think I'll tape it for a Saturday afternoon of boxing.

I see that there are two more footy players on this undercard trying their hand in the ring (Hodges v Lussick)...no doubt trying to line up a big money fight against the likes of Gal or SBW!

From Rob's Facebook page: Hey guys just want to inform you that the fight has been postponed to a later date due Hooper medical issues

Hopefully we see this fight on the next no limit card then

Hodges has said if he wins tonight he wants Gallen... someone needs to show Hodges how poor he really he is. His first two were terrible. I know nothing about how Lussick goes but you'd almost have to make him favourite for tonight going off Hodges previous fights

Here's Lussick's boxrec profile...not a lot to write home about!

Footy wise, he has been around a few NRL clubs (Manly and Parramatta from memory), and currently is on the Toronto Wolfpack roster (alongside another well known footy player who likes to try his hand at boxing occasionally!)

Comfortable 3rd round TKO for Light in the end.

Just saw the fights.  Light bursts Broadhurst eardrum and then kept hitting it until the fight was stopped in the third.  I think Light said that Broadhurst came in with an injury, but the announcers didn't say that.  Big win for Light, as he's now beaten to Aussie's that have contended for world titles.  He wants Jai Opetaia.

RE: NZ boxing - News,Views and gossip. - justafan - 12-07-2019

it looks like injury may have happened before fight but not Lights fault as you can only beat who is in front of you. Shame has fight could have gone much longer and been more competitive
