The ref stopped Takam late, Joshua has yet to see the 12th round in a professional bout. If Parker makes it that far I hope both men empty the tank and the ref lets it play out

Trying new things are also effective, staying fresh and new is also effective. Parkers comment sounded a little close minded and opinionated. What I've learnt from sport is nothing is wrong but a learning experience. You can always be learning and open! To much Barry syndrome in him lol (Kevin Barry Knows best)

Nah, it's only about trying to rattle a strength AJ has: top notch training methods and body. Yesterday it was the glass jaw. Today the stamina. BTW, he stopped Takam late.

to me it sounds like he is trying to give himself some confidence.

Parker Very Pleased With Camp, Continues To Grind For Joshua

Joseph Parker (24-0, 18 KOs) is "on track" for his heavyweight unification fight with Anthony Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs) in Cardiff next month.

Parker will put his WBO strap on the line at the Principality Stadium, while Joshua's IBF, IBO and WBA belts will also be draped around the victor on March 31.

The pair will finally come together after months of negotiations between the representatives of both camps, the bout confirmed early in 2018.

Ahead of the fight Joshua said he hoped Parker would be fit enough to go the distance in their 12-round contest, and Parker has provided an update that should please the British boxer.

"Training has gone really good," he told Sky Sports News at his Las Vegas training camp.

"Everything is on track. We've got a good structure and a good plan.

"Going into camp, everything is all good, everyone is happy. Just got to put in the work and prepare for March 31."

Parker's coach, Kevin Barry, indicates that his boxer has been doing a lot of road work to get his stamina in order.

"Joe loves his road work," said Barry. "This is something that we've always done the five years we have been together. Most mornings he's up at 5 o'clock, preparing himself in his room. He has a little bit of fruit and 5.30 he's on the road.

"This morning he will probably do the short run, about three and a half. He usually runs five miles in the morning. Today he will change that up. It will be a bit of forward running, backward running, sideways. He will be changing that up this morning. This fight has been inevitable and it's just great that it's come together on such a huge stage, and a fight that means so much.

"First unification fight for nearly eight years. I know that Joshua will be taking it very seriously as he always does. Joseph Parker is preparing the best he possibly can for this fight."

KB and Joe should watch tapes of Ali in his prime. No, Joe will never be an Ali, but he needs to watch Ali's movement, particularly when he stays on the outside, then picks his spots, and times it beautifully to get inside and smash his opponent.

So much talking. Joshua and co are heads down and training and parker is yapping every single day.

Hatman says he gets concerned for fighters when they start acting out of character prior to a fight because it shows signs of something going wrong mentally.

I'm starting to become concerned for joe

You should know how many articles you can write out of one 20 minute interview...

RE: Joshua vs Parker betting - Msreef - 02-16-2018

I'm not really concerned about Joe talking, it's mostly just the same things being recycled. A whole news article is often being written off one statement.
It's boring though, we don't need to hear anything more about this fight for another month or so, then things will really heat up and get exciting.

I see the PPV price has been set at $50.
