I was just going to ask who Hemi was fighting, its a fair enough fight for his 5th pro outing. I expect an early stoppage though, Clarence will be the first to admit he's a shocking trainer but he has ring experience and is a 'name' in NZ.

Well I'm a bit gutted its cruiser again with so many of the same fighters I'm still pumped about it.
At the end of the day you want to see the best show and if that's at cruiser then bring it on!
One more co-main decent pro event instead of Monty Betham would have been cool but at least this way we will get someone of the calibre of Danny Green rather than Monty in commentary.
If you compare the ppv cost to a Duco card, going to the pub or movies it looks bloody cheap to me...

WBA #13 McCracken in action Saturday

WBA #13 cruiserweight Anthony McCracken (17-7) and Vaitele Soi (24-1) will be in action over ten rounds on Saturday in the feature event of the Super 8 tournament in Christchurch, New Zealand. “I am looking forward to claiming back the titles for New Zealand and Samoa, and to overcome the man who beat my friend,” Soi said. “It is a matter of personal responsibility that I vanquish McCracken, and restore the honor of my team, my trainer and my friend.”
McCracken is confident he will defeat Soi after his victory over former world rated David Aloua in 2014 and having gone the distance in a 12-round war with Shane Cameron in 2010. “I’ve seen the YouTube clips of Cameron sparring Vaitele and he got dropped with 18oz gloves on,” McCracken said. “I went 12 rounds with Shane and he couldn’t hurt me, so really what does Soi think he’s going to be able to do – I’ll break him down just like I did to Aloua.”
Super8 matchmaker Mark Keddell predicts another aggressive showdown. “Soi is a knockout puncher with a 64 per cent KO ratio and McCracken will fight in a phone box for free so I’m expecting fireworks. Super8 is about quality matchups and 50-50 fights. This will be an edge of the seat bout and is a worthy title fight.”

Minto won, the judges call it a draw, extra round and...Minto is screwed out of the win.
I hope Joseph Parker does well in his career, would be nice to have a decent New Zealand boxer.
The comedy bouts aside and the shit judging at the end, it was a decent event. And my last. With sky anyway.
