RE: Heavyweight Division - bart - 03-24-2022 I will be surprised if Ruiz gets in with Ortiz RE: Heavyweight Division - diehard - 03-24-2022 He'd be a fool. Ortiz would KO him. Ruiz better stick with Chisora. More money, easier fight. RE: Heavyweight Division - bart - 03-24-2022 Exactly Chisora won't be an easy night for him either- style wise RE: Heavyweight Division - diehard - 04-14-2022 Andy Ruiz vs. Tyrone Spong on PPV July 16 Triller Fight Club has announced a July 16 pay-per-view event headlining former unified heavyweight champion Andy “The Destroyer” Ruiz Jr., (34-2, 22 KOs) and unbeaten Tyrone Spong, (14-0, 13 KOs). The event will take place at the historic Plaza de Toros in Mexico City. The 32-year-old Ruiz is coming off a 12-round unanimous decision over former world title challenger Chris Arreola on May 1, 2021, in Carson, CA. Spong, 36, is a former world champion kickboxer who has been pursuing boxing since 2015. Eleven of his thirteen knockouts have come within the first two rounds. Additional fights for event will be announced shortly. RE: Heavyweight Division - bart - 04-14-2022 Andy the Disappointment Ruiz what a load a crap- fighting a novice. He should be fighting Ortiz- Wilder- Parker- Joyce Even a Wallin or Chisoraneven give Arreloa a rematch No ambition left RE: Heavyweight Division - diehard - 04-14-2022 Ruiz is a fat, unmovitated bore with all the talent in the world. His true colours came out when he rematched AJ. That was his time to shine like a true champion. Instead, he took the money and ran. He can join Arreola as a pair who coulda been something. A former kick boxer? Hey, great body though! https://www.google.com/search?q=tyrone+spong&rlz=1C1CHBF_enNZ807NZ807&oq=tyrone+spong&aqs=chrome..69i57j46i131i433i512j0i512l5j69i60.2991j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 RE: Heavyweight Division - diehard - 04-27-2022 Bryan moves camp from Florida to Las Vegas WBA heavyweight champion Trevor Bryan (22-0, 15 KOs) is getting a lesson in camp from none other than the Easton Assassin, former heavyweight champion Larry Holmes, as he prepares to defend his title against Daniel Dubois (15-1, 14 KOs) on Saturday, June 11 at a site to be determined. Bryan has taken a change of scenery as well as he has moved his camp from Ft. Lauderdale, FL to the bright lights of Las Vegas. Bryan’s promoter, Don King, is planning to present another spectacular boxing card featuring six championship bouts with the theme of promoting peace and freedom for the people of Ukraine. RE: Heavyweight Division - diehard - 04-29-2022 Holmes: Bryan really impressed me WBA Heavyweight Champion Trevor Bryan and his team did a lot of listening. When the former heavyweight champion Larry Holmes speaks, silence is golden. Bryan is getting ready to defend his WBA title against Daniel Dubois set for Saturday, June 11. Bryan moved his camp from Ft. Lauderdale, FL to Las Vegas and the former heavyweight champion came to town to work with Bryan. “Trevor Bryan has got himself together,” said Holmes. “He’s kind of quiet and he doesn’t talk a lot. I’m the one with the big mouth. He did a lot of listening and I did the talking. He was willing to learn. “All these guys are looking for that big punch for the knockout and the easy way out. You can’t beat them unless you take them out in the water and work them over. The jab did that for me and set up everything else. “Bryan is a big guy and he’s got himself together. He is all business. He really impressed me.” The 32-year-old Bryan, who sports a 22-0 record with 15 KOs, will be going up against the younger DuBois, at 24-years of age along with his 15-1 record and 14 KOs. Bryan’s promoter, Don King, is planning to present another spectacular boxing card featuring six championship bouts to continue to promote peace and freedom for the people of Ukraine. RE: Heavyweight Division - diehard - 04-29-2022 OMG, Holmes has taken too many shots to the head. Bryan is garbage. RE: Heavyweight Division - diehard - 04-30-2022 4 months away.
