Alright everyone, brand new to the site but glad to see plenty nz boxing fans .. not many here in Nelson that i know of. Juat wondering if the alvarez v smith fight is being shown? Called sky last week and asked if they had ggg v brook and they said no so watched it back later on YouTube but one of the lads at work said it was shown for free on arena ? Cheers anyone that replies .. i predict canello tko in the 8th

Welcome Geordiekev! Just checsked the SKY POP-UP, which is where it would be if they were televising it. Not there unfortunately. Will check again tomorrow, but it's usually in the 60's on SKY, as in 61 or 62, etc.

If all else fails there are a few live streaming sites that are pretty reliable. Not sure what time it's on tho?

Cheers lads sadly thats what i thought. How can that be tho the biggest ppv star not being shown AT ALL its on backcin uk states oz Europe? Be around 1 in the arvo start of the card

I'm busy unfortunately tomorrow midday so it'll be hopefully a Youtube replay for me in the evening. I'm picking a very close fight. Smith being a Liverpoolian won't get stopped without giving a good fight. Probably go down to points, and if it does, I'm picking SMith.

I've lost a lot of respect for Alvarez over the whole dropping his version of the middleweight title rather than fight GGG. I hope he gets beat, but don't think Smiths the man to do it.

I agree. Alvarez can punch, and will be too much for Smith. But not for GGG!
