Can not for the life of me see how this fight was allowed to go ahead!!!
Much respect to Mike Kapi for taking the challenge but sometimes fighters are too brave for their own good. I was at Duco's last promotion and watching live I was really confused at what the point of the bout between Joe Blackbourn and Kapi who was on debut was, It was so one sided! Blackbourn should now be moving up but was left fighting a guy on debut.
So what was the point throwing the kid in with Papauni??? There is no point and it reuins the reputation of the sport and gets people hurt... Being a coperate event there was a lot of non boxing fans there so was a great chance to get more people involved in the sport but I would guess it only turned people off.
