100,000 people is a lofty target. But then who knows what the hype of Joshua extends to if he gets past Martin. Hearn has a big ego, and I'm sure he could put something like this together. Regardless, there is 2 fights which could go both ways. Let's not get ahead of ourselves... :-)

My point exactly. These fights are not a given.
True, Nigs.  AJ getting past Martin, and Parker beating Takam is not a when but an if.  Then, assuming Parker wins, he'd have a couple of fights before January if he fought AJ.  And they'd have to be competitive enough to bring in the punters.

On the other side, if AJ gets past Martin, there'd be more lucrative fights than Parker.  Fury and Haye come to mind.  And we have Chisora vs Pulev in the background as another eliminator in the IBF.

Lot of if's.  No way Parker leaves Duco.  But Duco may join with Hearn and Matchboxing if he fights AJ in England.
Parker beats Takam then fights Solomon Haumono in July, complete guess, you heard it here first..
Sounds good. If he beats Takam, he needs some stay busy fights like what Haumono would offer. Ustinov also comes to mind, although it could be competitive. Dare I say "Lucas Browne" if he tests positive?
Carlos Takam vows to knock out Joseph Parker and show him a 'real man' in their IBF heavyweight elimiantor

Joseph Parker is busy in Las Vegas with trainer Kevin Barry as he prepares for the biggest fight of his professional career.

Carlos Takam has broken his silence on his looming battle with Joseph Parker, saying New Zealand's rising heavyweight has made a mistake in taking him on.

With the rival camps finally agreeing to a May 21 date in south Auckland for their crucial IBF heavyweight eliminator, it seems the trash talk has started.

Make that trash tweets, befitting the current state of global communication.

Takam, 35, vowed to knock out Parker and show him 'a real man".

Parker, 24, an avid tweeter, was quick to counter-punch, declaring that "talk is cheap" and he wanted their fists to do the talking.

Cameroon-born Takam is currently training at his Paris base while Parker goes through his routines in Las Vegas with trainer Kevin Barry.

Parker has promised to be in "beast mode" for a fight that has huge ramifications.

The winner gets to take on the winner of next month's IBF title fight between American champion Charles Martin and Britain's Anthony Joshua in London.

The fight is starting to make rumbles through the boxing world with The Sweet Science reacting positively to confirmation of the venue and date.

They described Takam as "a major step up for Parker" and "at 35 Takam still has a few years of relevancy left".

They noted that the Transnational Rankings Board, a body independent of the four major boxing organisations, had Takam ranked at No 7 with Parker not in the top 10.

But the respected BoxRec site has Parker at No 12 in their independent heavyweight rankings with Takam at 14.

The IBF, which is all that matters for this fight, list Takam at No 5, one place above Parker.

rude comment? what was it you wanted to say craig?
I thought you were calling me loner dick, so replied accordingly. Then after reading Crankys comment i realised id got the wrong end of stick but if id have simply taken my comment down then his comment would have looked out of context. The lesson learnt for me is dont go on the forum after a few beers (i should have learnt that by now).
Didn't read the previous messages. Assuming we're all cool now?
All cool from my end.
I'm not sure I'm gonna go to this now, Manakau's a bit of a mission to get home from. Hopefully there'll make the bill so good I have to go and worry about getting home after.
