Berridge vs Taihia
Thought there may have been more talk about this fight on here.
Sounds like there is no stream or tv for this fight which is a real shame. I'd love to see it but won't be near the venue on the weekend.
Who is everyone picking?
I'm still undecided, probably Berridge but I think Taihia is underrated by many people. In saying that the loss wasn't great in his last fight but also think he underestimated Falekaono.
My friend Rebel trains Taihia, and i like him heaps but I have to go with Berridge by late stoppage.
Thanks Die, have you talked to rebel since the loss to Falekaono?
Just wondered if there was anything they put it down to other than the layoff?
I'd say Josh from Gladwrap channel will have some videos from the weigh in, he's worth following on youtube
If you are in to league he also has some nines videos also

Nah, usually only talk to him at boxing events, so haven't seen him in awhile. He used to come on the Tua website I ran back in the day. He's a super guy, makes his own furniture in New Lynn.

Is Falekaono the same guy who lost to Rapira in Opunake?
Oops, wrong guy. I was thinking about Craig Turner, who fought Rapira and Taihia.
nah mate, think he's only lost to Berridge and Jai Opetaia.
Berridge was only his second fight. It was the four man that Papuni beat Berridge in. Think it was around xmas time last year and only over three rounds.
The Berridge fight was close, I was there and thought Berridge won two rounds but I know others who watched it on tv that thought Falekaono won the first two rounds. From memory there was no dominant round or knock downs, points taken off etc
He lost to Jai a few months back, I haven't seen the fight but pretty sure he was stopped.
I'm pretty sure him and his brother were in the Tongan team for Glasgow com games with Junior Fa. From memory he lost in the quarters
