That's a shame for your mate, it was always gonna be a toughy against Bryant. Cheers for the report, you can't beat live boxing. Sounded a great night (apart from the result). Is that it for Batman now? Or is he continuing?

DEFINITELY agree with you Craigyid14. I have known Grant for a number of years and he is one of our most under rated coaches in boxing. He would be one of the most knowledgeable guys around on NZ boxing and the fighters. Looking forward to the title bout tonight it will be a good one.

Do you know Colin (Scott) as well?
Will post in more detail later but that was an outstanding for fight given it was reasonably one sided.
Langton may not have won but its impossible not to love and respect the guy after that showing. Would pay to watch him fight anytime.
He wants a rematch which is very brave given Bryant took this fight on six days notice but it looked like Langton hurt Bryant a couple of times on the stream.
Both legends and such a shame more people didn't get to see the fight.
Interesting night of boxing last night. Fa looked a bit unrefined. Awkward short guy in Pati. He needs Quarrie this year then a Minto level next summer. Can't gauge anything right now. The problem in my opinion with tonight's fighters was the willingness to get hit, ,maybe Ricky Murphy, Helu notwithstanding. Anyone can comment whether the quality of Nz boxing is getting better? Helu needs to be developed slowly, maybe get some durable aussies over to take him 10 rounds without knocking the confidence out of him. Same with Murphy. Aumatagai also looks like one to focus on and get him sharper defensively. A few times he was taking shots from Jackson he didn't have to. Really exciting time but need to build on this and not let these guys remain stagnant with their skill development. The guy Murphy fought will make a bit of cash as a good durable journeyman. Have to say the disappointment of the night for me was Nick Charalampous. He looked real pplodding and telegraphed his shots. No real snappy jab, or structured defence-just all over the place. Like a poor man's Bellew. A shame because he seems to have good natural explosiveness. Could be a weight thing too. Cheers
I really believe Mose Auimatagi could become something special, he's only 21. He's having a brilliant year and seems so confident. That really was a great win for him last night, Gunnar is brilliant pressure fighter. As for Charalampous, boxrec has his weight at 199lbs. That's basically a heavyweight! He should be boxing at super middle, light heavy at his heaviest. He really has to decide if he really wants to be a boxer, if so he needs someone to train him and be strict with him. Like you say justapakeha, he has real explosive moments. But then has far too many lazy tendencies. As a boxing fan he's so frustrating to watch, the epitome of wasted talent. So far....
Never meet the guy myself but win lose or draw I enjoy Gunnar Jackson interviews. Comes across a very down to earth and respectful guy. Great for the sport

Might be common knowledge but Nik The Greek was sparring with Berridge before the big bash. Would love to have watched that
Any idea if there will be a stream for Sam Rapira v Robert Berridge?
Thought I saw there was one a while ago but haven't heard anything...
I haven't heard anything about a stream, shame I'm in England and would love to see this. It seems to have taken on more importance since Taihia lost.
Maybe I dreamed it but thought I saw something. Will keep an eye on it over the next few days.
I think I paid $10 for the stream when Bryant beat Langton and it was worth it imo.
What's everyone picking for this fight? I think Rapira will last four or five rounds before being stopped.
I think Berridge has the power to hurt Rapira to the head and body but Rapia's only chance of winning is a decision.
It's hard to see this fight going the distance.
Shame it didn't have a better undercard but can understand the resons for that too.
