He is slick, and James needs to walk through him, take Betham's punches, and keep coming until he stops him. James will be in shape for this one, and needs to keep backing him up with constant pressure. Box with him, and James will lose.

James will be the underdog, but he'll make a fight of it, unlike in Auckland. Monty is in the 'naki now.
Surely the guy who beat Langton last up should get the title shot.
Langton had a two fight contract to fight Monty. James' fight against Fa wasn't a mandatory to see who would fight for the title. But I understand what you are saying. In a perfect world...
I didn't see the fight but was told he got beat pretty handily. I find it hard to get enthused with this fight, good luck to your mate though. If I'm being honest a lot of the light heavys would beat both easily. Probably the whole top 5. It should be a route Sam Rapira should look at going.

I see Nik the Greek is fighting Vaimoli Ioelu at the big bash now, while Ioelu is much better than his record suggests its still a disappointing fight. I wonder why He's not fighting Kwadjo again.
Jordan Tai has pulled out of his NZPBA middleweight title challenge against Gunnar Jackson at Big bash 5. Jackson now fights Mose Auimatagai, the NZPBF middleweight title holder. Only Jacksons belt will be on the line, Mose is fast becoming my favourite kiwi boxer. Clearly he'll take on all comers at the drop of a hat.
Welterweight Bowyn Morgan is facing Queensland welter champ Kris George (10-1) on the Parker Christchurch undercard, nice matchmaking and a good fight for Morgan.

Excellent. Izu's opponent should be announced in a day or two.
