Thomas Heads has pulled out of NZ title fight with Asher Derbyshire, according to Boxrec
Anyone know why? Maybe be its unrelated but if it is anything to do with his last fight Asher has good reason to be pretty pissed in my book given Heads took the last fight at late notice.
Thomas Heads pulled out through injury.
One wonders if that injury was either picked up or made worse by last fight which was taken at late notice.
Asher Derbyshire (7-2) now fighting Pane Haraki (0-2).
Interesting that they both call themselves The Punisher
Haraki lost a split to Monty Filimaea on debut and a UD to Lance Bryant

Some interesting background on Haraki here, could be a good fight.

I'm off to the boxing tonight at the ABA, Auckland (not the Derbyshire fight). Nothing quite beats Friday night live boxing.

Ivana Siau is underrated so I think this could be a a good fight against Mose Auimatagai.
Be interested to see how Moses Neilsen goes against Craig Thomson, neither of their records tell us anything really so that makes it interesting.
Is anyone in Wellington heading to Derbyshire v Haraki??? I'll keep any eye on their Facebook pages but would love to hear something from someone who was there.
