Cairo George seems quite happy filling up small venues in small town New Zealand. I don't see it changing either. Even before he broke his hand last year, the plan was to fight a Thai export with a so so record, That's the limit of expectations for his 'international' opponents. I see him fighting for an IBO 'world title' in Hamilton next year. He's already said he wants to retire by 30, he'll probably be 20-0. His body, especially his hands don't seem to be up for multiple fights in a year and he's quite a successful personal trainer. As someone already mentioned the '0' is seems to be the most important thing to him. I hope he proves me wrong and jumps in with Morgan or Taylor, I just can't see it.
Yeah I think your spot on there Craigy I think he's more then happy to fight in small venues against Low ranked opponents and continue to brag about how he's undefeated and a 3 X NZ Champ. I guess he's just doing what works for him so good on him I suppose ? But I truely believe that the moment he steps up and fights someone decent he gets destroyed but hey he might Suprise me but we will never know unless he steps up his opposition majorly.
just saw this cairo george on gladrap channel, with all due respect he seems a dreamer. all blinged up and acting like a world champ - it wasnt a good look? his record is atrocious for someone claiming to be 'waikatos greatest boxer'. Morgan would flatten him youd think
Needs to get rid of the TBE hat aswell it's an insult to Mayweather.

Great to see Lance and Robbie Bryant on the same card in NZ.

I was actually calling for the Monty Filimaea fight for Lance following the first Super 8 when Monty was NZ champ but after his last three loses on the bounce I'm not so sure Monty is up to it if Lance is in shape.
Robbie taking on Daniel Maxwell who went the full 10 with Bowyn Morgan earlier this month. Unfortunately I think Maxwell will only be there to survive again

Lance just needs to get some wins, he's a much better fighter than his record suggests and will get more fights once his record refelcts that.
Agree with you 110% tm7.
Was robbed against Soi and was close both times against an awkward Israel Adesanya. He's never been stopped or well beaten.
From what I understand the level below the top Ozzies don't want to know him which is not surprising as if you only had two loses you wouldn't want to lose to a little known Kiwi who is 5-3.
And Lance needs a few more fights before he takes on the top ones.
Would love to see him with three wins over the next six months to get him fit and confidence high and then clash with Anthony McCracken for his belts.
Lance was scheduled to fight Kane Watts last year but it did not happen, not sure of the reasons.
