Die, how fast is Langton?
I know he trains the house down and now I'm officially on the bandwagon so I'm backing him but I wonder if Monty would be too fast and hold that speed over 12 to beat him on the cards in what could possiblly be a boring fight .
I could see Langton struggling to land and Monty not having the power to worry Langton.
Hope I'm wrong as a lot of casual sports fans especially leaguies would watch it so would be a great way to bring more attention to the sport.
Reminds me of Anthony McCracken. A real battler. Not great power, but he can stop you. Not great speed, but he can beat you to the punch. James just keeps battling until he gets his money shot. He likes to fight on the front foot, and with Monty's aggression, had to fight some on the outside. But Langton loves to exchange, and he got the better of Monty each time.

Langton vs Betham would be exciting. Would love to see it on the undercard of the Parker fight in Auckland later this year. Oh, Langton would land all right. Langton has won 8 straight after losing his first two fights to Devonshire. He keeps getting better, has jelled with a new coach. He's ranked 120 worldwide by boxrec.

So it's no secret you are biast but could he beat Monty?
Lol HAHAHA Biased..........
Biased? Of course. Last two fights Monty fought was a cricketer and a rugby player. Who would win? No idea.
To be honest I would like to see Langton win if that fight happens, not just coes I'm on the bandwagon, I actually want him to
Monty Betham is corporate. Langton is everyman. On the nite of the fight, he helped to put up the ring! Wife did the promotion. In between rounds, James remained standing, never sat down. In great shape.
I hope I'm wrong but can't see Sam winning this. Wont have the power to worry powerdrill and probably not the chin to handle powerdrill. http://www.stuff.co.nz/taranaki-daily-news/sport/70217975/rapira-gets-chance-to-secure-a-top-100-ranking
Excellent fight for Steve, but he's got his hands full.  His last fight in Opunake was against an inferior opponent.  Rapira has plenty of power, he just needs to make sure he doesn't get picked off like what happened with Reece Pupuni.

At some point, Rapira has to take the plunge.  Now is as good a time as any, and in his home town.  Might go to this one!

Powdrill has fought decent opposition, but has only 6 fights, and only 1 by KO.

You would think Rapira would be the better boxer if it went the distance as Powerdrill still seems much more focused on other codes even after knocking out Hooper but I think he will finish Rapira well inside the distance.
You could argue Papuni is the only fighter thats thrown punches back in anger with skill to boot and Rapira lost that is style. I hope I'm wrong as Rapira is a great guy and great for the sport but I just can't see him winning this fight.
