Good on Langton, I'm thrilled for him. Everybody loves hearing a good battler story and as promised to Die I'm now only the Langton bandwaggon.
But and it is a big but, if he has only been fighting for three years what does it say about the likes of Monty and Pati who are the two best known he has fought?
Did he have any sort of amateur background?

No amateur background that I've heard of. Look, he's not going to contend for the world cruiser title. His goal was to win the NZ title, which he did. A dream for him. Monty was a pick'em fight, and he definitely got the measure of Monty. Dominated him? No. But it was an exciting fight, James not backing down, and gave Monty more than he can handle. James said he had gotten some offers before the Monty fight, and he was second up after Chauncey for the SBW fight.

Langton v Bryant??? Could be very entertaining!
What happened to Bryant v Watts? I was looking forward to that but it seems it didn't happen? Anyone know?

Anyone know what happened to Jake Revill. Hasn't fought for around 16 months so wondering if he's given up, taking a break or injured???

Monty Betham has called out James Langton for the cruiserweight title. James told him to come to Taranaki if he wants to fight. Would be a good match-up, and would sell out in Opunake.
