Oosthuizen looks comfortable at 175. I don't think Berridge is ready for this level but you got to take the opportunities when presented with them I guess.
Watched some footage of Oosthuizen, he doesn't look anything special. He has a very good jab for a southpaw which will be something they need to watch out for, apart from that and cutting off the ring I think Robbie should be able to win this one comfortably.

And Berridge does? This is an easy fight for Oosthuizen.
I'm just glad team Berridge isn't talking this up as he will be the best in the world if he wins this...
I love the kid and will always support him so hope like hell he wins, It's a huge chance in his career but it worries me what a lose would mean to him. On the other side of the coin, you can't doubt the kids balls. deserves credit for having a crack.
Haven't seen much of Oosthuizen so don't have opinion on winner but will be cheering the house down for Berridge that's for sure
He doesn't look like he'll have the power to trouble Berridge. We know Robbie's got the power to KO most fighters so I guess it'll depend on if Berridge can land shots. He's never going to win on points
Guess it shows the star power of Duco when most people in NZ haven't even worked out this fight is on, including the media (excluding the town where Berridge hails from). Haven't see it on the news or anything like that and I watch most nights.
Not saying I agree with everything Duco does but it does prove as point.
If Berridge can win it would interest me if SKY Arena make a play at him? Thing thing with the Butcher, win, lose or draw you know you are going to see an action packed fight.
Yes!!! Looks like my mate James Langton has landed a NZ title fight with Tua's man, Mad Dog Filimaea. Well done.

Standfords Event Centre, Opunake, New Zealand view

cruiserweight Monty Filimaea SC James Langton 10

light heavyweight Sam Rapira SC Sam Loli 6

super welterweight Daniel Roy Maxwell SC Kieran Toa 4
Also, Daniel Roy Maxwell fighting three times in 20 days, in two weight classes!
Interesting that Sky Arena and John McRae himself have been wishing the Butcher luck and posting updates on social media. If he wins this fight it would be logical to expect he will headline Sky Arena's next fight night wouldn't it?

Good point justafan, Berridge is the real deal and exciting as he brings every thing he's got and fights above his station no humbug!
