Credit to Joseph. He was calm, polite, respectful and has a deep-seated faith and belief.

He should not be baited into making predictions. 'I will knock you out'. Calls like this can influence his game. So, does JP go away and think - Crikey! - I have to knock him out now. Does Joe step into the ring attempting to fulfil his prediction and hunt the KO..? Dangerous if he does!

I'm training to win and I will win.. should be his mantra.

V.
I think he will stick to his game plan. He lives with his coach lol.
Thought JP did brilliant
I saw AJ not be worried or nervous but not quite his usual self, I think he was impressed by JP in that shit this guy is a real challenge.
In saying that I hate the boxing stare downs and what commentators and fighters read into them...I saw fear in his eyes etc that's just bullcrap . Much like the ABs looking fierce in a pre match haka and Nisbo and Marshall saying ' Oh they are pumped and focused @ of course they are they always are.
I was impressed by the way JP held his own especially as Nelsons questions became tedious.. if anything JP showed maturity (as did AJ) and that this is his time for this fight...winning and losing we won't know until the ref raises a arm
Hahahaha JP is getting larger with voice control.. laughable really.
lost me
Talking it up doesnt equate to doing. JPs build up since the fight was announced is bigger than his fight resume. He has a right to be there for all of ducos efforts, but facing the press does not equal facing AJ regardless of fan hysteria.
absolutely sham fight night will show all...
in the meantime the press will continue to build the fight and put JP under the spotlight and so far he has handled himself brilliantly.
AJ is a press pro -he knows what they and the public love -JP is learning fast and has not looked out of place.
I really think Aj respects JP as boxer that's why he is working so hard to lose weight, he has previously been obsessed with being big but has changed tack for JP and that shows he not taking fight lightly.
Good post Bart. Just your previous post sort of implied AJ was perhaps nervous of Jos persona.
AJ surely is not fool enough to disrespect an opponent, but Jos words like 'I will definitely KO you' coming alongside his KO record defies the odds...AJ should be intrigued.
no worries Sham I don't know if he nervous I doubt it but wary - I think he see's JP is a diff animal to Charles Martin -Molina and co.
JP won't quit when hit
Quite frankly I think AJ played him on that interview, JP walked into it.
