In a mismatch, Olympic featherweight hero Michael Conlan (3-0, 3 KOs) was victorious when the corner of Jarrett “Juarez” Owen (5-5-3, 2 KOs) threw in the towel at 1:56 of round three.
Unbeaten middleweight David Toussaint (11-0, 8 KOs) scored an eight round split decision over Shane Mosley, Jr. (10-1, 7 KOs), son of former three-division world champion “Sugar” Shane Mosley. Scores were 77-76, 77-76 for Toussaint, 77-75 for Mosley.
Light heavyweight Damien “Super” Hooper (13-1, 8 KOs) surprised previously unbeaten Umar Salamov (19-1, 14 KOs) via unanimous decision. Scores were 96-94 across the board. Hooper claimed the WBO and IBF International titles.
Bantamweight Brock Jarvis (8-0, 7 KOs) blitzed “Rasmanudin” (20-20-3, 10 KOs) in the first round.
Junior welterweight Brent Dames (6-3, 0 KOs) outscored Jonel Dapidran (8-2, 4 KOs) over six rounds. Dapidran is a cousin of Manny Pacquiao.
