Just noticed Boxrec has added whether or not a fighter is enrolled in VADA testing or not on its fighter bio. Interesting going through the top heavyweights to see who is not enrolled. Luis Ortiz, Anthony Joshua, Derek Chisora, David Haye, Erkan Teper and Tony Thompson.
Is there a reason why most of the british fighters are not enrolled and does it cast suspicion over a fighter if they are not enrolled when fighters who have been caught before are also not enrolling.
I've been trying to find out how much it costs to undertake all the testing, I've found nothing. Any ideas?
The British do their own independent testing where at any time they can get a knock on the door and take a test, anytime at all. They also have to declare if they are going to be more than a couple of hours from home so they can be tested wherever they are. It's very strict.
