Casual fans are stupid

State of nz fanbase

Why is it that you always have to have some sort of retaliation when anything British is mentioned on here?

Instead of discussing the poll the video was based on, the immediate thought was to turn things around to have a dig back at the Kiwis. I have to admit, the quality of your posts over the last few months has declined from "Boxing enthusiast" to "Grumpy Old Man".

Do you think Dave Allen will get a crack at Ortiz or even Haye for the December open slot?
Why do the casuals think Allen has any chance after his showing with Whyte?

Let's get some better discussion back on here Infern0....

The tab made a lot of money because many voted with their hearts and supported Tua
As for Tua being favourite at the TAB that never happened
Lewis was always the firm favourite .

I've been a member of boxingforum24 for about 8 years now, during that time I spent most of it in the British section as that's where the best boxing debate was.

When I join this site I was happy we finally had a good prospect coming through in JP after shane Cameron who I respect but was domestic level and the false dawn of tuas second run.

But as soon as JP started to get mentioned in the sentence of Joshua things have got out of hand. We now are attacking the British Fanbase because dave Allen put a poll up on his personal twitter and his followers (read: dave Allen fans) voted for dave Allen.

I've got a lot of friends in the British Fanbase, I've talked with them for years, been on podcasts and round tables and frankly the hardcore british fans are the best and most impartial in the sport. I had to join that community because when we didn't have anyone on the scene nobody in NZ was interested in boxing!

Yeah the casuals are stupid, that's the same anywhere. But 99% of Parker fans are casuals and are just as stupid. I mean a couple of years ago a casual asked me if sonny bill would beat mayweather!

I don't like the finger pointing and anti british sentiment from my fellow kiwis as they are a good bunch who have been around years and are overall very knowledgeable in the sport, and they are the first to slate their own casuals and even their own fighters if they deserve it.
