interesting,..i wonder if BEASTMODE will stream this one..lol
I can't bring myself to care about this one at all.
They'll need a good undercard.  Bring in Izu for a meaningful fight, Horn for a title fight with Kell Brook, and some top Aussie and NZ fighters.  Do it in Brizzy.  Would be big over there.

I honestly think this is a very dangerous and risky fight for Joseph. Additionally it is a no win situation for Joseph and Team Duco. First and foremost Solomon can bang and will be extremely motivated - he is the underdog/nothing to lose but has a very good record domesticly with 21 KO's. If Joseph wins everyone will say so what, if he loses he goes backwards big time. Duco will certainly struggle to sell this on PPV unless it is $20.00 and has a very good Trans Tasman undercard. Warm up fights before a title fight can spell disaster - this is no easy win. I am picking an upset especially if it is in Aussie with their judges.
Fight Confirmed on the News at Noon.

Ah, Duco will put it in NZ, but I think it should be in OZ.  Get him used to a hostile crowd.  But I agree, it is a dangerous fight if Parker doesn't train properly and take it seriously.  I personally think it's a good opponent.

Now we'll see how the hype machine promotes it.  How about Lucas Browne vs Hemi on the undercard?  Or Junior Fa?

Parker returns against Haumono on July 21

IBF heavyweight mandatory title challenger Joseph Parker’s next fight will take place at Horncastle Arena, in Christchurch, New Zealand on July 21.
Fresh off his intense and grueling 12 round win over Carlos Takam, Parker will fight Australian Solomon Haumono in preparation for his IBF world title fight and in doing so, put his IBF title shot on the line.

Australian prospect Haumono is no slouch, ranked WBA #12 and the current PABA Heavyweight Champion. In his 24 fights, he has won 21 by way of knock-out. Parker wants big challenges and to put into practice all that he learned from his enthralling war with Takam.
